Cooling Equipment

Ameritherm water-cooled induction heating systems require a heat exchanging mechanism to remove heat generated by the equipment. We offer three types of cooling equipment: water-to-air heat exchangers, water-to-water heat exchangers and chillers. The best cooling solution for a specific heating system depends on the induction heating power level and surrounding environment.

Water-to-air Heat Exchangers

Our compact water-to-air heat exchangers for HOTSHOT and EASYHEAT induction heating systems transfer the heat produced by the water-cooled induction heating system into the ambient air.

Water-to-water Heat Exchangers

Water-to-water heat exchangers maintain a clean, closed loop water cooling system for the power supply while transferring heat to a plant-wide-cooling facilities water or to city water. The cooling capability will depend on the temperature and flow of the incoming facilities water. All water-to-water heat exchangers are supplied with the necessary manifolds and up to 25 ft. of plumbing (depending on size of power supply) to connect the power supply and the heat station.

Chillers

Chillers use a refrigeration system to cool the water and transfer the heat to the surrounding air. The ambient air temperature determines the amount of heat that can be transferred. All chillers are supplied with the necessary manifolds and up to 25 ft. of industrial-strength hose to connect to the power supply and remote heat station.
