Brazing a brass assembly to 1400F: The parts are pre-brazed and black flux is applied. Braze pre-form rings are applied and the assembly is placed within the induction heating coil. Induction heat is applied and the entire assembly is brazed in about 35 seconds:
The coil does not get hot, but it induces a current to flow in the assembly. Friction from that current elevates the temperature of the assembly! |
