Why Induction?

RF induction heating is fast, clean and economical. Ramp up is virtually instantaneous, you have very precise control over time and temperature, and there's no need to leave the furnace on between part runs. Applications

Designed for curing, drying, brazing, soldering and melting, our furnaces are available in a variety of sizes to match your parts and process requirements. For applications such as adhesive curing and paint drying, the parts are simply inserted into the heating chamber and the furnace is activated. Need to braze or solder an unusually shaped part? Our induction furnaces utilize a round metal susceptor (see diagram at left) to provide even heat throughout the entire part. So brazing and soldering processes are consistent and repeatable, even with non-conductive materials such as ceramic feedthroughs or printed circuit boards. You control the heating power, time and temperature with the push-button controls on our solid state power supply. MORE ABOUT POWER SUPPLIES

For melting silicon and metals such as steel and titanium, a slightly different approach is utilized. The material to be melted is placed directly on a conductive metal susceptor which is heated by the induction coil.

Custom Design

We've designed induction furnaces to meet a wide range of process requirements - from our compact 1 kW Mini-Furnace (shown top right) to our powerful 80 kW L-Series Furnace (shown top left). We can design a furnace with 30 W to 120 kW heating power for standard atmosphere or vacuum operation, and incorporate a controlled atmosphere backfill for reduced cooling time as needed.
