Dr. Dahake conducts 'Don't Get Burned' seminars

Once again, the “Don’t Get Burned” seminar proved to be a big hit! Ameritherm hosted four seminars in November; each presented by Girish and located in Chicago, IL, Rochester, NY, Albany, NY and Beachwood, OH. With an attendance of 25 people at each seminar, the seminars proved so popular that Ameritherm is planning to offer five or six more in new locations all over the US for 2007.

Dr. Dahake Speaks in Mexico

Dr. Girish Dahake was a featured speaker at three prestigious universities in Mexico lecturing to crowds of faculty, researchers, practicing engineers and students.

He explained the principles of induction heating and demonstrated the benefits of precision, non-contact heating with Ameritherm’s HOTSHOT system. Guests learned how induction heating can be incorporated into a wide variety of manufacturing processes.

He was hosted by The Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, The Tecnologico de Monterrey and Cinvestav (Centro de Investigacion y de Estudios Avanzados. While in Mexico, Dr. Dahake also visited and provided both insight and recommendations to manufacturing facilities in Monterey, Saltillo and Juarez.

Brazing Seminar Hosted by Dan Kay Associates

The HOTSHOT induction heating system brazed joints to illustrate the principles of induction heating for better brazing. Ameritherm's Chip Laskowski demonstrated this non-contact heating method to the attendees of a brazing seminar hosted by Dan Kay Associates. Eager students witnessed how induction heating is used for reliable, repeatable, non-contact and energy-efficient heating in a minimal amount of time

Dr. Dahake addresses RIT Mechanical Engineering students

Ameritherm's Dr. Girish Dahake, Director of Global Applications, spoke to a group of 25 students of Rochester Institute of Technology's Dr. Satish Kandlikar. The topic was 'Industrial Heating'. Dr. Dahake described heating alternatives for various processes (resistance, flame, furnace, etc.) and highlighted the particular benefits of induction heating
