Question:

What can I use to hold my parts while they're being heated?

Wayne Says:

Wayne Says:

In general, when feasible, its best to use non-metallic fixtures to hold parts during the heating process. All metals are affected by induction and will eventually heat up and rob power from your process. Non metallic fixtures are unaffected by induction and draw no power away from your process. If metal fixtures are needed to hold parts select metals that are less affected by induction. If you have questions, please contact our applications lab for recommendations when creating fixtures.
